The Cherries are out of the relegation zone after today’s victory.

Bournemouth won against Newcastle 2-0 at Vitality Stadium, and the home side is not anymore in the relegation zone.

We didn’t see goals in the 1st half, but we saw the Magpies suffer another injury blow as Miguel Almiron couldn’t continue, and Matt Ritchie replaced him in the 31st minute.

In the 60th minute, Dominic Solanke beat the goalkeeper with his strike into the bottom left corner to give the win to the Cherries. He scored again in the 73rd minute as VAR checked his goal for a handball, but the goal stood after the check, and Bournemouth had the 2-goal lead after 75 minutes against the Magpies at their stadium.

After the victory, Bournemouth climbed to the 17th place with 9 points after 12 matches as the Cherries have 2 wins in their last 3 Premier League games.

Newcastle are in 7th place with 20 points after 12 games as the Magpies 7-game unbeaten streak in the league ended tonight.
