We didn’t see goals in the 1^st half, but we saw the Magpies suffer another injury blow as Miguel Almiron couldn’t continue, and Matt Ritchie replaced him in the 31^st minute.

In the 60^th minute, Dominic Solanke beat the goalkeeper with his strike into the bottom left corner to give the win to the Cherries. He scored again in the 73^rd minute as VAR checked his goal for a handball, but the goal stood after the check, and Bournemouth had the 2-goal lead after 75 minutes against the Magpies at their stadium.
