The LA Rams and Matthew Stafford have agreed to a restructured deal that keeps the QB in California, the organization revealed.
The adjusted deal came after the franchise gave the quarterback’s agent permission to talk with other organizations. After speaking with the Raiders and the Giants about deal parameters, Matthew and his current team were able to come to an agreement on a reworked deal.
With the quarterback remaining on the team, the Giants are open to anyone strengthening their quarterback position, as that features Aaron Rodgers.

A few days ago, LA manager Sean McVay claimed that the franchise’s 1st goal is to keep Stafford part of the Rams as starting QB but that the franchise was trying to balance the short-term and long-term team choices that will benefit from an adjusted deal.
Matthew, who inked a deal extension with Los Angeles 3 years ago, had 2 campaigns left on the extension with 4 million dollars guaranteed this year and no guaranteed money next year.
In 16 matches in the past campaign, the Rams starting quarterback completed 65.8% of his passes for 3,762 yards, with 20 TDs and 8 picks.
