Phoenix Suns signed free agent Bol Bol. The Sudanese is the son of former NBA basketball player Manute Bol, who was 8’5 feet tall.
The 6-foot-3 Bol Bol last played for the Orlando Magic, where he averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds last season. A curious fact is that Bol’s wing span is 7’6 feet (92 inches).
Phoenix’s last deal was with the San Antonio Spurs. The Suns sent guard Cameron Payne to the Spurs and the Texans will also receive a choice in the second round of the draft.

By parting with the 28-year-old Payne, Phoenix will save $26.4 million in penalty fees and receive $6.5 million to use for other transfers.
