Tua is thankful Miami showed him 'the money.'

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa grabbed the mic at training today to share something that deserves celebration:

“Show me the money!” the quarterback exclaimed before he thanked the supporters for being there.

Afterward, the QB continued to express his gratitude on the day he officially inked his 4-year, over 212 million dollar extension with Miami.

The contract makes him the highest-paid footballer in organization history and 5th highest-paid in the National Football League history in earnings per year. After the practice, the 5th-year QB claimed he knows that with the new contract, there are expectations about deep playoff runs.

“I’m the highest-paid player in this franchise,” the quarterback shared with the media. “I need to get my whatever together. I got to get that right and get my teammates moving in the direction that we must go to be able to compete for the Super Bowl.”

Before Tua and the Dolphins agreed to terms 2 days ago, the quarterback was slated to begin the final season of his rookie deal after a career campaign.
