Jaylen Brown finished with 27 points for Boston, who can close out the Cavaliers with a victory in Game 5 on Wednesday at TD Garden.
The Cavaliers got pushed to the brink of elimination with 2 top basketballers sidelined as Donovan Mitchell (calf) and Jarrett Allen (ribs) missed the match with injuries.
It was nothing new to Cleveland that dealt with problems all campaign, but it was a very tough task for the team to try and survive without Donovan, their All-Star guard who has carried the offensive since the beginning of the playoffs, or Jarrett, their leading rebounder.
Jayson had his 2nd consecutive strong match, finishing also with 11 boards and 5 assists. Jrue Holiday scored 16 points for Celtics.
