Boston advanced to the Eastern Conference finals.

Jayson Tatum notched 51 points – most points in Game 7 ever in the history of the NBA playoffs and the Boston Celtics trashed the Philadelphia 76ers 112-88 at TD Garden and will be part of the East Conference finals.

Tatum also grabbed 13 boards, had 2 steals, and gave 5 assists for almost 42 minutes on the court.

Jaylen Brown helped with 25 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. The only other Celtics player with two digits points was Malcolm Brogdon with 12.

Tobias Harris was the highest-scoring player for Philly with 19 points. Tyrese Maxey notched 17 points as the MVP winner Joel Embiid scored only 15 points. James Harden finished with only 9 points in that embarrassing defeat for the 76ers.

Boston Celtics will face Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals as Game 1 will be on Wednesday at TD Garden.
