Tyson Fury and Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev finalize a deal to fight on June 17 in Abu Dhabi. The sensational news was announced in Twitter, but specifies that the negotiations have not yet ended.
On April 29, Fury was supposed to meet Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, negotiations had been going on since the fall of 2022. A month earlier, the Ukrainian’s manager Aegis Klimas announced the cancellation of the fight, as the two could not agree on the money distribution.

“No matter how many compromises Usyk made, Fury still set new demands,” he emphasized at the time.
Fury, 34, has 33 wins and one draw. Kubrat Pulev has two world-title fights under his belt, but lost both of them – against Vladimir Klitschko in 2015 and vs Anthony Joshua in 2020. The Bulgarian heavyweight star last fought Derek Chisora and lost on points last summer.
