Tchouameni suffers muscle problem and will be out for France and Real

Aurelien Tchouameni will be sidelined for some time and will be unavailable for Real Madrid and France after it was confirmed that he sustained a semitendinosus muscle problem in his left leg. The Royal Club revealed the news today. It is very unfortunate for Los Blancos and his nation as he is a key figure under both Xabi Alonso and Didier Deschamps.

Aurelien was on the pitch the whole match in the 1-0 defeat vs. Liverpool at Anfield in the UCL 2 days ago. His club’s manager, Xabi Alonso, will need to deal with his absence as he is one of the crucial players under the Spaniard, and the head coach praised him:

“Tchouameni is a very important footballer, because he can play in different positions, as he made the right decision on the pitch that helps the whole club.”

The French midfielder started 14 of the 15 matches Los Blancos have played in the current campaign, as only Kylian Mbappe and Alvaro Carreras have played more minutes than him.
