Erik ten Hag has aimed a pointed dig at the Red Devils’ chiefs by claiming that if they do not want him as their head coach, he will win titles for another team.
The Dutch boss lifted his 2nd trophy in as many campaigns with Manchester United thanks to the team’s shocking 2-1 victory against Man City in the FA Cup final at Wembley today.
Ten Hag revealed that he still doesn’t know if he will remain Man United’s head coach in the next campaign, but he claimed he will continue to win titles – whether at Old Trafford or for some other club.
“Two silverware in 2 seasons is not bad; 3 finals in 2 years is not bad,” the Dutch manager shared with the media after the FA Cup triumph.
“If the owners want to replace me, then I go somewhere else to win trophies because that’s what I provide.”
His future is still in doubt after Manchester United finished 8th in the EPL.
