Manchester United have lost 4 of their 7 matches of the season – the 1st time they have done so since the 1989-90 campaign.
They also lost 2 consecutive matches at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
After the end of the clash, the fans booed the Red Devils players, and the Dutch manager understood why they are not happy.
“I understand supporters are expecting a victory, and we didn’t triumph, and we were defeated,” Erik ten Hag shared.
“Of course, it is a concern; we must do better; this is not the demand for a huge club like ours. The demand is we get consecutive victories and get into a series. It must happen as soon as possible.
“I can give you reasons, but you will explain it as an excuse, and there are no excuses; we have to triumph.”
