His team suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at Old Trafford during the weekend as this was Man. United’s 7th loss this season after just 14 matches.
But speaking to the supporters ahead of his team tomorrow’s Carabao Cup clash vs. Newcastle United, the manager claims he’s certain the club will come good.
“At our club, every match involves high stakes,” the Dutchman wrote in United Review.
“Each day, there is pressure on everybody involved with this side, but those demands and standards are a challenge that we must always meet with our best. While this has not been the beginning of the campaign that we have anticipated, I do not doubt that we have the talent and the will as a team to progress.”
Ten Had added that it’s only a matter of time before Manchester United shows their true selves.
