Erik ten Hag revealed today that he thinks Man United’s new owners have the “common sense” to see that he remains the Red Devils head coach.
The Dutch has overseen a disappointing 2nd campaign with Manchester United and rumors are that the new owners will dismiss him after the end of the season.
Ten Hag, on the other hand, thinks the new owners understand the tough period he has faced as the Red Devils’ injury crisis this season is definitely a valid reason, and recognize that despite that, the Dutch manager led the team from Old Trafford to a 2nd straight FA Cup final.
“I believe they have common sense,” the Dutch manager shared with reporters asked if he thinks that he could be dismissed after the end of the campaign.
Erik added that he used 32 different backlines and that when you lose 8 centre-backs, when you don’t have a left full-back, he achieved the optimal results given the unfortunate situation.
