The Red Devils won 4-1 on Thursday

Manchester United manager – Erik ten Hag, shared his thoughts on his team’s 4-1 victory against Chelsea. The Dutch specialist praised his players for maintaining the concentration that led them to the final result.

“We wanted to win and we showed a winning attitude. Chelsea have outstanding players but we were really good on the counter attack, we were really dangerous. As a result, we managed to score four goals. We should have scored more but they could score too. We can still finish third in the Premier League this season. It was important that we kept our concentration and at the same time allowed injuries,” said ten Hag, quoted by the BBC.

The success secures Manchester United a place in next season’s Champions League, which will be the Red Devils’ first appearance in the tournament since 2021, after finishing outside the top 4 last campaign and this season competed in Europe League, where they reached the 1/4-finals stage.
