The Red Devils’ head coach, Erik ten Hag, has refused to rule out making loan inkings in the current transfer window after having no choice but to name a bench full of youngsters for the FA Cup victory vs. Wigan yesterday.
Antony was unavailable for the 2-0 triumph at the DW Stadium because of a problem, while Christian Eriksen was out because of illness.
It forced the Manchester United manager to name a youthful bench with 22-year-old Facundo Pellistri, the oldest footballer who waited to be put in the match.
Ten Hag answered if new loan signings are a possibility until the end of the transfer window, and the Dutch boss gave a positive answer:
“We think about everything,” the Dutch head coach admitted. “What is in the best interests of the footballers and also the best interests of our club? So we’ll see what happens in January and if we can add quality players until the end of the month.”
