The rookie completed 19 of his 29 pass attempts for 238 yards and 4 TDs, 3 to DeAndre Hopkins — to lead the franchise to a very crucial 28-23 victory against the Atlanta Falcons.
The rookie QB joined Minnesota Vikings Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton (1961 vs. Chicago) and ex-Tennessee QB Marcus Mariota (2015 vs. Tampa Bay) as the 3rd player in the league’s history with 4 passing TDs in his 1st career match.
Levis replaced Ryan Tannehill, who sustained a right high ankle sprain in his team’s Week 6 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens in the U.K. Ryan had been ruled out on Friday.
The rookie 1st touchdown in the league was a 47-yard strike in the 1st quarter to Hopkins.
