A grand jury in Texas has chosen not to indict Houston Texans’ Jimmie Ward, several months after the safety was arrested on suspicion of 3rd-degree felony domestic violence.
The jury revealed that they didn’t see probable cause that the Texans player committed the alleged crimes vs. the person involved in the episode.
“It is time for me to focus on the future,” Jimmie claimed after the news broke out that he would avoid indictment.
The safety is at the moment on the league commissioner’s exempt list, and that means that he can’t train or attend matches until he is removed from that list.

“We continue to watch closely everything that happens around Ward, and it is still under review,” a spokesman for the league shared after it became official that Houston’s safety will not face legal consequences for the alleged violence.
