Tkachuk and Chychrun help Sens beat 5-2 Flyers

Brady Tkachuk and Jakob Chychrun each netted twice to secure the Ottawa Senators’ 5-2 victory vs. the Philadelphia Flyers at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, ON.

Anton Forsberg stopped 19 shots, and Jake Sanderson also netted for Sens, who triumphed for the 1^st time since the beginning of the new campaign as they lost the season opener 5-3 from Carolina.

Travis Konecny and Cam York netted, and Carter Hart made 26 saves for Philadelphia.

Flyers started the new campaign with a 4-2 victory against Columbus two days ago but didn’t show the same level today vs. their Canadian opponent.

Philly will face Vancouver on Tuesday at home, while the Senators will play against Tampa Bay again at Canadian Tire Centre.
