The Canadian NBA franchise also inked guard Javon Freeman-Liberty. Harper Jr. and Freeman-Liberty signed 2-way contracts.
Dowtin Jr. appeared in 25 matches for Toronto in the past campaign, averaging 2.5 points, almost 1 rebound, and 1 assist per match.
An ex-Rhode Island Ram, Dowtin was not selected in the draft and inked a ten-day exhibit deal with the Orlando Magic in 2020.
Harper played 9 matches for Toronto in the past season, as he was on the court for 48 minutes.
He was on the court from the 1st minute in 27 of the 30 matches he played in for the G League’s Raptors 905, as he had almost 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in almost 32 minutes per match.
Freeman-Liberty notched almost 22 points, had almost 8 boards, and more than 3 assists per game over 24 matches with DePaul University in 2021-22, his final college basketball campaign.
