The Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah is progressing with his recovery as he continues to train at the Florida Complex League.
Manoah threw seventy-five pitches over 5 innings in a simulated match, head coach John Schneider shared with the press.
Alek Manoah threw about 75 pitches over 5 innings yesterday in a simulated game in Dunedin.
Next step? Doing that, again.
It sounds like Manoah could get into a real game after that, which would likely be 10-12 days from now if all goes well. #BlueJays

“Everything that we wanted to see in terms of delivery and stuff was at the top level, so he is definitely in the right direction,” the manager added.
Alek can be available to play for his franchise within 2 weeks if everything continues to go smoothly in his training.
