Goalie Ilya Samsonov and winger Matthew Knies were seen on the ice for the Toronto Maple Leafs practice in the morning today. That is the 1st time the pair trained after they sustained injuries at the beginning of the 2nd round matchup vs. the Florida Panthers.
Samsonov was injured by his teammate Schenn in the 2nd period in Game 3 and missed Game 4.
Knies skated for the last time in Game 2, leaving the ice with a concussion after multiple tough hits from Panthers players.
Both of them will not be available for the upcoming clash, but if Maple Leafs avoid elimination in Game 5, they can be ready to help in Game 6.
