Hendrickson’s previous contract, worth $60, expires in 2024 and he would have become a free agent. The terms of the new deal are yet to be revealed.
The 28-year-old Hendrickson has 22 sacks and six forced fumbles in two seasons with the team. He sustained a wrist injury last season, but still continued to play and eventually helped the Bengals reach the AFC championship game for the second straight year.
Hendrickson will be tied with the Bengals until 2025 and will be looking to bolster their squad.
