Treylon Burks has avoided a serious injury to his left knee after a scan revealed it is only a minor issue.
The Titans coach Mike Vrabel revealed that Burks has suffered no structural damage.
“I don’t think it’s going to be a long-term thing,” Vrabel said. “I’m not putting a timetable on it, but I think it was a best-case scenario.”
“We’ll rehab him, and I know he’ll work hard to get back,” Vrabel added. “When he’s ready to come back out he’ll help us.”
According to reports Burks has sprained his lateral collateral ligament and will miss the next two weeks.
The Titans have high hopes for the wide receiver in the upcoming campaign with the team registering the third-fewest passing yards in the NFL last season.
