Stefanos Tsitsipas pulled off a comeback to beat the home favorite Andy Murray 7-6 (3), 6-7 (2), 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-4 to advance to Wimbledon third round.
The 25-year-old Greek was one set down against the two-time Wimbledon champion and Thursday night’s match was called off due to darkness.
No. 5 seed Tsitsipas played better when the match resumed on Friday when the weather was sunny and warm. The Greek tennis player leveled the sets after a tiebreak and a solid opener, and in the final part, the 36-year-old Murray showed hesitation, despite his extensive experience on grass matches. The veteran lost serve for the first time in the match, but it was enough for Tsitsipas to advance to the next round.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will play against Laszlo Jere from Serbia in the third round of Wimbledon.
