The Bundesliga champions were defeated 3-2 at VfL Bochum to increase the pressure on him, who was already under fire after last weekend’s 3-0 loss against Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen.
The FCB are now 8 points behind unbeaten Bayer after 22 matches since the beginning of the season.
“If you ask me if I still think that the coaching staff and I can turn things around, I’m positive,” Tuchel shared after the loss against Bochum.
“Growing pressure? It is normal after every loss. But today, we played very well and were just unlucky.”
Bayern’s CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen revealed after the defeat that Tuchel would keep his job and lead the club in their next match vs. RB Leipzig.
