With the Chicago Cubs’ campaign finished, the rumors about the future of Kyle Tucker have already begun.
One of the most coveted people in the MLB, who will be a free agent, admitted after his team’s Game 5 defeat against the Milwaukee Brewers, that he doesn’t know where he will be next season.

“I don’t know what will happen in the future,” Kyle shared, who could seek a deal for 400 million dollars after agreeing to a 16.5 million dollar contract to avoid arbitration in the current campaign. “At the moment, I really don’t know what will happen. If I don’t return to the Cubs, I want to wish them all the best. I really enjoyed being part of this team so far.”
The addition of Kyle, who was acquired via trade from the Astros before the start of the campaign, buoyed the organization’s hopes of a deep playoff run. And when Tucker was playing during the campaign, the outfielder was a viable MVP candidate.
However, he sustained an injury in June and another one in September, and that affected his game as Milwaukee triumphed in the NL Central by 5 matches over Chicago, who secured the top wild-card spot with a 92-70 record.
