The outfielder picked up the injury during Thursday's game
The Minnesota Twins announced on Saturday that outfield Max Kepler will be sidelined for up to 10 days with a hamstring strain he picked up in Thursday’s game.
At first Kepler left the game with alleged cramp, but it was later discovered that it is actually more serious.
“We were hoping Kep obviously wouldn’t need to go on the IL,” Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said. “He got an MRI and the MRI seems OK. But he’s still pretty tight, and we don’t think he’s going to be able to play for a handful of days.”
The Twins have recalled outfield Trevor Larnach to take Kepler’s place, while the outfielder is returning back to fitness.
