The 28-year-old will be hoping for better luck with his new team as his stint with the Wings has been plagued with injuries.
He managed to register only 50 games last season, but still notched 8 goals, 30 points and 22 assists. However, that was still a step down from the season before, where he had 62 points in 68 games.
Bertuzzi was drafted in 2013 as 58th overall pick and spent the entirety of his career at Red Wings, where he scored 92 goals and 218 points in 326 games overall.
In March he was acquired by the Boston Bruins, where he shone with 10 points in 7 playoff games.
