Tyler (30) played 11 matches for the San Francisco 49ers last campaign and was also part of the Jets, Bills, and Bengals.
Dolphins wanted to add TE after Mike Gesicki chose to join New England in the free agency.
In April, the Floridian franchise extended TE Durham Smythe‘s deal over 2025. Ex-Broncos tight end Eric Saubert also joined the Dolphins as they also selected Stanford receiver Elijah Higgins as they will try to convert him to a tight end.
With Smythe is forecasted to be the 1st choice at the tight end, as Kroft can fight to be the number 2.
