Yoro was forced to leave the pitch during the first half of the friendly match against Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The 18-year-old, who joined the “Red Devils” on July 18th, appeared to struggle as he walked off the field and was later seen boarding the team bus with a protective boot on his left foot.
Yoro was bought from Lille for 62 million euros and was expected to become an immediate starter for Ten Hag, but now his pre-season looks to be over and will need more time during the season to take his place in the starting eleven.
The extent of his injury and the expected recovery time have yet to be confirmed by the club, but it most likely will take at least three weeks to recover.
