Uruguay shock and beat Argentina 2-0 in Buenos Aires

Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez netted as Uruguay ended Argentina’s 14-game victories run going back to the World Cup in Qatar.

Nunez scored his goal in the 87^th minute to double his nation’s lead after Ronald Araujo had scored the 1^st goal in the match in the 1^st half.

That was Leo Messi’s and his teammates’ 1^st defeat since their 2-1 against Saudi Arabia in their 1^st game at the 2022 World Cup.
