Valladolid decided to exercise its purchase option on Cyle Larin, who played for the Spanish club on loan from Belgium team Club Brugge and the 28-year-old attacker has inked a 2-year contract with them through 2025.
However, it is not certain if Larin will play in Spain next season. Valladolid can sell him during the summer transfer window, but the contract means the team will earn money from his potential transfer. Another Spanish club that wants the forward is Mallorca, as they finished 16th last campaign and were very close to relegation but kept their place in La Liga.

During the winter transfer window, Cyle joined Valladolid at the beginning of the year and played 19 matches for the team, netting 8 goals. However, it wasn’t enough for Valladolid to avoid relegation, as they finished 18th and must play in Segunda Division next campaign.
