Darren England and Dan Cook did not intervene when Luis Diaz scored a goal, but it was ruled offside on the field as it was clear from the replays that the ruling was a mistake.
Simon Hooper, the on-pitch official from that match, will be the VAR official for Bournemouth’s visit to Everton.
Michael Oliver, the 4th referee, will be part of 2 Premier League matches.
Michael will be a VAR official for Luton’s match against Spurs on Saturday before being an on-field official for Arsenal’s clash vs. Manchester City the next day.
Yesterday, the Reds made an official request for the audio recordings between the match referees to understand better how the situation resulted in Diaz’s goal not being counted.
