Referees Darren England and Dan Cook were banned for 2 games that same weekend before being excluded from the previous round of matches.
England will be the 4th referee for Brentford’s home match vs Burnley, while Cook will serve as an assistant official for Man. United clash vs. Sheffield United.
9-man Liverpool 2-1 defeat in London on September 30th after Joël Matip scored an own goal in the match’s final seconds. However, Liverpool should have taken the lead in the 1st half when Luiz Diaz netted, only for the goal to be disallowed.
PGMOL had to apologize for the error and label it as a “significant human error.”
