The newly-crowned three-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen won the Qatar Grand Prix and celebrated his title in style.
The Red Bull driver was too quick to catch once again this season and left both McLaren drivers behind him with Piastri at P2 and Norris – P3.

The race at Lusail will go down in history books as it was made mandatory for all drivers to make at least three pit stops, because of a tire issue of the Pirelli tires. Right after the start Lewis Hamilton was out of the race as he tried to take the long way round the first corner, but clipped his team mate’s front left tire and Russell span as well, but managed to keep his car going.
After a great race, the young British driver got fourth place in front of Charles Leclerc, who was the only Ferrari in the race today, as Carlos Sainz didn’t start because of fuel system failure.
