The 2023 Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen won the Mexican Grand Prix for his 16th win this season.
The start of the race was heartbreaking for the home supporters as Sergio Perez hit Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and flew out of the track and finishing his race before the first corner.

The Ferrari drivers, who started first and second were managing their tires, but opted to a one-stop strategy and lost a bit of time to Hamilton and Verstappen.
Both Sainz and Leclerc pitted, going down the order just before Kevin Magnussen’s crash that brought out a Safety Car and later – a red flag.
