4-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel did not rule out the possibility of returning to the sport. The German retired after the 2022 season in order to have more time for his family and conservation, but admitted he is not ruling out a return.
If this were to happen, it would not be unprecedented, as some of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history have taken breaks from their careers and then returned to the track: Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen are some of the examples.
“You’ll come back won’t you?” 💭

“I can’t say no because you never know,” Vettel said to Sky Sports F1 in an interview with Martin Brundle. “If you ask the drivers, who have given up, few of them will tell you they will come back, but eventually they all come back, so I can’t rule it out. Of course, it depends on when that happens because that window is not infinite, I’m 36 now and I can’t say I’ll be back in 10 years.”
