Brazil and Los Blancos superstar Vinicius Junior was forced to leave the match in the 1st half of his country’s 2-1 defeat to Colombia in the World Cup qualifiers. Vinicius, who played on the left flank, felt pain in his right hamstring after a sprint, making it clear that he couldn’t remain on the pitch.
After the fixture, Vini shared with the media that he thinks he sustained the same problem that kept him off the pitch for a month earlier in the campaign. “I think it’s the same problem as last time. I took a strike there, and it hurt a moments later,” the Real Madrid attacker shared. “Tomorrow, we will do tests, and I will know for sure,”
Vini Jr. missed 4 matches at the beginning of the season due to a hamstring strain, including the 1st Los Blancos derby of the campaign. The Brazil international returned to the pitch near the end of September and netted 3 goals in his last 4 matches for the La Liga giants.
“I think it’s the same injury as last time.”
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior was forced off during Brazil’s defeat by Colombia with what appeared to be another hamstring injury.
