Craig Bellamy has been announced as the manager of the Wales men’s national team until 2028, the FAW shared today.

Craig spent the past 2 campaigns as an assistant to Vincent Kompany at Burnley but has now joined Wales after Vincent became Bayern Munich’s head coach.
Bellamy shared of his new job: “It is phenomenal honor for me to be given the chance to lead my country and it’s the proudest moment of my career. I dreamed since I started doing this job to become the Cymru manager and I will give everything that I have.”
Craig’s 1st official match as Wales boss comes vs. Turkey in the UEFA Nations League in Cardiff on September 6th.
Bellamy played 78 matches for his country, netting 19 goals for Wales during that period. Craig club career features stays at the Magpies, with the Reds and the Sky Blues while he also played for Blackburn Rovers.
