It is a four-year deal, which ties the 28-year-old with the club until 2027.
“I’m buzzing to be here at West Ham United,” Ward-Prowse said.
“From the outside looking in, this is a club that has been on the rise for a number of years now and coming off the success in the Europa Conference League last year, you can feel there is real momentum around this club.”

The England international has been a long-time serving player for Southampton, joining them from the youth academy and capping 410 appearances.
However, the Saints relegation to the Championship last campaign has certainly contributed to his decision on leaving.
A written statement from Southampton read:
“His commitment to Southampton FC over two decades, his professionalism both on and off the pitch, and his support in the community means he leaves with his legacy as a Saints legend well and truly cemented.”
