The Golden State Warriors edged out the Portland Trail Blazers 118-114 in a tightly-contested game on Sunday night.
Klay Thompson led the way with 28 points as Stephen Curry’s run of 268 consecutive 3-pointer games finally ended.

He missed all of his eight attempts and finished the night with 7 points overall.
“We can’t rely on Steph to bail us out on every single night,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “It was a tough night for him, but that’s what a team is supposed to be about. Everybody filling in for each other, different guys stepping up each night. That’s a great sign, because he’s carried us for long enough this year. We need to give him more help.”

Andrew Wiggins had a solid performance with 25 points and 7 rebounds.
The Warriors looked on their way to a comfortable win, but a stubborn Portland team nearly made a comeback.
Jerami Grant notched 30 points, as Anfernee Simons scored all 21 of his points in the second half. The Trail Blazers cut it down to single point at 115-114, but were just unable to finish off the job.
