Stephen Curry will be sidelined during the All-Star Game in LA because of problems with his right knee that make Golden State’s superstar miss 4 consecutive match today vs. the Grizzlies.
Warriors boss Steve Kerr revealed before the match that Stephen also will be sidelined after 2 days vs. Spurs and will be out of the All-Star Game at the end of the weekend in hopes of being ready to return to the court after the break.
“Curry is doing well,” the Golden State Warriors head coach started. “It is kind of a daily situation. I don’t know yet if Steph will be able to be on the court in our 1st match after the All-Star Game, but that’s what we are aiming for, and if he is healthy, he will play.”
The Warriors 1st clash after the break is on February 19th vs. the Celtics at home.
Stephen, who will turn 38 next month, exited early from a 131-124 defeat at Chase Center by the Pistons at the end of January with a sore knee that had made him uncomfortable over the previous days.
