The Commanders' starting QB will miss their next match.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will be sidelined for the upcoming clash at the end of the weekend vs. the Las Vegas Raiders because of a knee problem, manager Dan Quinn revealed today.

Experienced Marcus Mariota will take his place at the quarterback position, who didn’t train with his teammates during the open viewing time of the practice of the organization today.

“We will not force the return of Daniels without making sure that he is at 100%,” the Commanders’ head coach claimed. “We understand how important all that is, and we must make the right choices.”

Jayden sprained his ankle in their previous game vs. the Packers and was unable to train in the past 2 days. His manager revealed a few days ago that he wants to see Daniels in training before deciding if he will be on the field on Sunday or not.

Dan admitted that the starting quarterback of the franchise threw each day and even ran today, but they feel that he is not at his best level, and they don’t want to take any risks, and Daniels is not there yet to play.
