West Ham’s manager David Moyes has confirmed that the team is closing in on signing James Ward-Prowse from Southampton and Harry Maguire from Manchester United.
Ward-Prowse is currently undergoing a medical, while United have agreed on a £30m bid.

“James Ward-Prowse is having a medical just now. We’ve agreed a fee but it’s not right I speak about him as he’s not yet our player.” Moyes said.
“We’ve had a bid accepted from Manchester United [for Maguire], but while he’s not our player I’m not in a position to discuss him really.”
Despite all that, manager Erik Ten Hag still says that Maguire is ready to get featured for the Red Devils on the opening day of the season.
