He is planning to return for his 13th NFL campaign.

WR Mike Evans, the Bucks’ all-time leading scorer, will play a 13th campaign in 2026 with still unknown with which team, his agent confirmed today.

After the end of the past season, Mike, who missed 10 matches because of a broken collarbone and a hamstring problem, took some time to decide if he wanted to continue playing. Evans even shared at the end of 2025 that his injury made him realize how much he will miss the NFL when he retires.

The wide receiver notified Tampa Bay that he wants to continue his career and will discuss a deal with the organization in the upcoming weeks. He can ink a deal extension at any time. Until today, it was not clear if Mike would continue to play football or retire.

If the star wide receiver wants to hear what other franchises have to offer, the free agent negotiating period starts at the beginning of next month, as that is the earliest moment that Mike’s agent would be free to talk to other organizations. He could officially ink a contract with another organization on March 11th.
