Gabe became part of Winnipeg in June in the trade that sent Pierre-Luc Dubois to LA Kings.
Vilardi played 63 matches in the past campaign, notching a career-high 23 goals and finishing with 18 assists.
He was selected with the 11th overall pick in 2017 from the Ontario Hockey League and has played 152 matches in the National Hockey League in over 4 campaigns, as he has 41 goals and 37 assists.
Gabe triumphed with the gold with the Canadian national team at the 2021 IIHF World Hockey Championship in Latvia.
His arbitration hearing was scheduled for July 28. Vilardi is the 2nd Winnipeg player in 3 days to avoid arbitration, with Morgan Barron agreeing to a 2-season, 1.7 million dollar contract two days ago.
