English Premier League club Wolverhampton ends up without a manager days before the start of the new season.
The “Wolves” management released Julen Lopetegui before the team’s first official match on Friday.
As the reason for the separation from the club, they point out “difference in the opinions of the two parties”.
Lopetegui joined Wolverhampton nine months ago and has been able to fulfill the purpose for which he was brought in, which was to save the team from relegation. However, the Spaniard leaves due to the troubled transfer summer.

“The coach and the club have understood and accepted their differences in relation to some issues and have decided that an amicable termination of the contract is the best solution for all,” shared Wolverhampton.
The new Premier League season kicks off on Friday with Burnley v Manchester City, while Wolverhampton Wanderers host Manchester United on Monday.
