Michigan and the NCAA are discussing a verdict to an investigation into the organization’s recruiting practices that can cause a 4-match ban for manager Jim Harbaugh.

The head coach would serve the ban at the beginning of the campaign, which will cause him to miss the matches vs. East Carolina, Bowling Green, UNLV, and Big Ten rival Rutgers.
“We are continuing to talk actively with the NCAA chiefs on an enforcement matter,” the head coach’s attorney shared with ESPN. “At the moment, we can’t comment on possible penalties or other majors that can happen.”
The NCAA probes the Wolverines program for alleged violations during the COVID-19 recruiting dead period as Michigan contacted recruits during dead periods forced by the NCAA because of the pandemic.
