The New York team bounced back from a 3-0 defeat yesterday

The New York Yankees topped Toronto Blue Jays 4-2 for their 11th win in the last 16 games on Thursday night.

Aaron Judge hit a two-run homer in the first inning. Anthony Volpe also homered, rounding off the final score with his seventh solo shot of the season in the ninth.

“Just a great way to finish off what was a very good series for us,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said.

For Toronto, who lost their first home series of the season, Bo Bichette led the way with a homer.

José Berríos allowed three runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings, losing for the first time since April 19 at Houston. He walked one and struck out eight.
