Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Alexander Zverev has withdrawn from the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Stuttgart, Germany with an injury.
The former world No. 2 lost in the semifinals of Roland Garros to Casper Ruud, but before his match with the Norwegian, Zverev pulled a thigh muscle.

In the semifinals in Paris, Ruud did not give Zverev any chance, defeating him with a 3:0 – 6:3, 6:4, 6:0, and in the final on Sunday he will face Novak Djokovic.
