Joel Embiid was the starman as he scored 36 points and made 18 assists. James Harden scored 28 points and Tyrese Maxey added another 23 to Sixer’s tally.
The Philadelphia team, however, ran into a bit of trouble as Embiid seemed to have been suspended for his sixth foul. 76ers coach Doc Rivers immediately challenged the call and after video review the decision was overturn and Embiid was allowed to stay on the field.
The Cavaliers did try to make the best from the initial absence of Embiid and closed up to 110-107. Unfortunately for them, Maxey was able to score a spectacular 3-points and the 76ers made five straight free throws in the last 51 second to wrap it up.
Caris LeVert scored 24 points for the Cleveland team, who are playing a second night back-to-backs. Donovan Mitchel added 21 points to his tally, as the Cavaliers were without center Jarret Allen, who has a bruised eye and is missing in third straight game.
